Tracey Carbajal, MD to our practice!

Tracey Owensby Carbajal, MD FACOG Doctor Lexington, KYDr. Carbajal is a native of Elizabethtown and graduated from Berea College and the University of Virginia School of Medicine.  She completed her residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Dr. Carbajal is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Fayette County Medical Society, Kentucky Medical Association and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has a special interest in robotic surgery, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and pelvic relaxation.

Dr. Carbajal recently moved back to Lexington from Harlingen Texas where she practiced with the Valley Women’s Clinic in 2011-2016.  She and her husband Junior are experiencing the joys of parenthood with their daughter, Gracieli.   In her free time Dr. Carbajal enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, yoga, cooking, and Kentucky Basketball.

Dr Carbajal loves obstetrics. She enjoys building relationships with the patient and their families during this special time.  Dr. Carbajal welcomes women of all ages and will be accepting new patients at both our Lexington and Georgetown offices.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same. We have made a lot of progress but still have a long way to go and need your help!
